ABOUT THE ROLE

The Administration Officer is responsible for providing administrative support to the Resilient in Reach Project. In addition, this may include supporting the Project Team in the roll-out of Resilient in Reach in person workshops across Queensland. Resilient in Reach is a 3-year project funded through the Information, Linkages and Capacity Building program via Department of Social Services. It will operate from July 1 2024 to June 30, 2027.

Raising Minds Ltd is working in partnership with Parent to Parent Association Qld Inc to deliver Resilience in Reach. The Project will operate from July 1 2024 to June 30, 2027.

The role is part-time 0.6FTE across Mon to Fri.

ABOUT YOU

Key Skills, Experience and Attributes

  • Qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in administrative and project support activities including organising meetings, taking minutes, and diary management in a computerised work environment,
  • Knowledge of the Queensland mental health service system is highly desirable.
  • Lived experience either as service user of mental health services or of being a parent, carer or kin of a child or young person with a mental health condition.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Exemplary phone and customer service skills, including experience dealing with confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner,
  • Contribute to the pursuit of excellence through promoting and maintaining positive team spirit and organisational values,
  • Communicate effectively and respectfully with all members of the organisation and external stakeholders,
  • Comply with reporting requirements as directed by your manager,
  • Complete other reasonable duties and projects as required to meet organisational objectives.
